Mission Projects ($2 million)
 Approximately one-tenth of the total sum of our capital campaign – almost $2 million – is designated for much-needed capital repairs at HFBC-supported mission endeavors in our city, as well as for various national and international projects. From roof repairs to air conditioning, and from California to India, these ministries’ needs are varied and real. Our stewardship will enable them to effectively operate – reaching the corners of our city and our world with the love of Christ.
Some of the HFBC-supported mission projects include much needed capital repairs and additions that will occur concurrently with HFBC capital projects:
Missions Training Center
- Replace large air conditioning unit
- Portico extension with slab and furniture attached to Food Pantry/Clothes Closets
- Upgrade ESL program (computers)
- Repairs, painting, and maintenance
- Flat screen TVs for Youth Room
- High fence for vans
- Sound system upgrade
Woodhaven Baptist Deaf Church
- New air condition/heating system in the east wing
- New roof and structural repairs in office area
- Repair and paint outside wood and inside of church
- New glass entrance doors on east and west wing
- Resurface and restripe all parking lots
- New floor covering in fellowship hall and hallway
Grace Baptist Church
- Air conditioning system in Education Building
- Lighting, kitchen cabinets, flooring, doors
Long Point Baptist Church
- Bring building up to code for “Occupancy Permit”
- Replace 55 year old air conditioning in worship center
- New roof
- Replace non-functioning air conditioner in gym
North Central Baptist Church
- Outside painting and repair sanctuary
- Resurface and restripe parking lot
- Phone system
- Paint, carpet, and new doors in Education Building
- Sound system upgrade
Park Temple
- Bus repairs (A/C, transmission, tires, belts)
- Electrical repair (breakers)
- Classroom painting
- Update computer lab
- Playground landscaping upgrade and retaining wall
